Requirements
GeekTalk requires the Macintosh™ version of CU-SeeMe™ from Cornell University. GeekTalk works with the current version 0.85b1, and also the previous versions such as 0.83b3.
Version 0.85b1 is highly recommended for use with GeekTalk. There were some limitations in version 0.83b3 relating to the plug-in support that have been addressed with 0.85b1.
Installing
(1) If CU-SeeMe™ is currently running, choose Quit from the file menu.
(2) Place the file "GeekTalk" in the same folder as the CU-SeeMe™ application.
(3) Launch the CU-SeeMe™ application by double clicking on the appliation icon. When it starts up, if the "Chat Window" opens automatically, close this window. If is very important that you close this window, otherwise GeekTalk will not function correctly.
